Did you ever send a video message for birthday? No? Try it. Why would you? Of course, you're the CEO of an organization. You're not sending video messages. I tell you one simple trick that will change everything. If you are a CEO, let's say of a 5, 000 people company, that's not that big, but also not that small anymore.
I believe you as the CEO should send video messages at least to every single person's birth. It don't need to be fancy. You just take your phone, you talk into that camera and say happy birthday to that person, say a little bit around it and send that to someone in PR or in HR or to your assistant and the assistant will forward it to that person.
A simple two step process. Second video, let's say maybe 10 second video will change the way how people see you if you truly mean it. So try small steps to get closer to your employees as a CEO and you will see what's going to happen.
