Start with the end in mind. Whatever we are building as business owners and CEOs, we need to start with the end in mind and then go backwards to understand what are the different things that we are going to do to get to where we want to be. Let's think about personal branding. When we are looking at our personal brand, we first need to understand why do we want to build our personal brand, fine-tune it, and get it to the level that we desire to.

It doesn't matter if we don't know what is the end result that we want to achieve. Building a personal brand for the sake of building a personal brand doesn't work. So we need to step back and look into what is the end point that we want to reach as thought leaders in our industry. And then with that, we are building a personal brand that leads us to get there.
