True Innovation Requires Us to Think and Explore Beyond the Ordinary
Innovation is often seen as a game of big ideas and bold strategies, but true innovation comes from something much simpler deep, meaningful connections. In today’s episode of The Daily Hint, we explore how leaders, CEOs can break free from the surface-level approach and truly innovate by engaging with the right people in the right way.
Many executives focus only on their internal teams, missing a crucial perspective their end customers. In a B2B environment, this often means speaking to decision-makers rather than those who actually use the product or service. But real insights come from those who experience the challenges firsthand. Taking the time to connect at this level can lead to industry-changing ideas.
Too often, leaders get caught up in managing their businesses and overlook the value of firsthand interactions. But innovation thrives on iteration, learning, and deep engagement with real people. Sometimes, a single authentic conversation can spark an idea that reshapes an entire industry.
The challenge?
Making this a daily practice. True innovation isn’t about occasional breakthroughs it’s about consistently going beyond the obvious, beyond the boardroom, and into the real world.

A little hello goes a long way.
And don't focus only on employees.
That obviously you should do as a manager and as a leader of an organization. But connecting with your end customers, not the big bosses, if you have a B2B business, so that you feel and you learn what's going on in the industry and what your customers truly need.
The tricky thing is that us as CEOs, we don't take the time in doing that. We are managing a business and we miss out on the true connections because sometimes it just takes one true connection to make something happen that nobody would ever experience.
Innovation comes from iterations and going deeper than you would ever think about. And that means. You need to go deeper and connect with real people. And that daily.
