As a manager, the number one responsibility for me is enabling my team members to grow. If I enable my team members to grow, which I have done over the last 20 years of being a manager in different organizations, the team will speed up and the organization will benefit. And the only reason for that is that the person that I support to grow will feel it and through that will work more happily, is more engaged, and loves to work with me.
The team and the organization. It's all about helping people to grow as a manager because then you step up to be a leader, we should all be leaders and empowering and enabling people to grow.
