At the AOL membership directory, I started hunting down food chemists. And I don't kid you when I say this, I contacted over 500 food chemists and I was told it couldn't be done. It shouldn't be done, it wouldn't be done. I was told to go f... myself because people at that time felt so strongly against, let's say it wasn't called keto at the time, it was really low carb.

They felt really vehemently about it. And then luckily I ran across a guy and he said, sure, I'll help you. And that was it. I didn't even meet my partner face to face for literally a year and a half, two years.

And by then we were already in all these different states, all these different stores had a factory and he just said, sure. And we worked it by email and phone. It was the simplest thing. And today it's kind of similar. I mean, we have all different funnels and there are people everywhere, but everyone is literally one step removed from whoever they need.
