Why I Focus so much on My Team
Putting your team at the center of your focus. Leaders frequently find themselves juggling numerous tasks and responsibilities, often getting so caught up in the daily grind that they risk losing connection with the people who drive their success. But staying attuned to your team members’ needs is essential for fostering a productive and committed environment.
Main Takeaways:
1. The Balance of Tasks and Team
As a leader, balancing your work obligations and your team’s needs can be tough. Sometimes, you may feel too busy to check in with your team, only to find that it affects their motivation and performance. Creating time to connect with your team, especially during intense work periods, can significantly impact the team’s productivity and morale.
2. Recognizing When to Step Back
It’s not unusual for leaders to receive feedback from team members when they feel disconnected or unsupported. When that happens, it’s crucial to pause, reassess, and step back into a supportive role. Sometimes, a conscious decision to spend the next few weeks focused solely on your team can turn things around.
3. Why Teams Are at the Heart of Success
Success doesn’t happen in a vacuum. Your team members are essential to achieving any leader’s goals, and by being there for them, you build a foundation of trust and collaboration that makes a lasting impact. Prioritizing team connection is key for any leader committed to long-term growth and success.
Whether you’re leading a large corporation or a small team, the message is clear: your team is an extension of your brand and leadership style. Staying connected with them is a powerful way to build a culture that thrives and grows with purpose.

The devil is in the details when you go into personal branding. Your personal brand is built with a Be there for your team as a leader. Sometimes I did the mistakes, and I still do it today and not being there for my team because I'm busy. You might have experienced that yourself. You're so busy in delivering tasks and managing things in your business or in a corporation that.
You're so busy that you're not taking care of your team members, and you're not there for them in the way that you should be. And they give you the feedback. If you are having a good feedback culture in your team, and then that means you need to switch. I just did it the other day where I felt like I'm too far away.
I'm not where I should be. I step back and say, OK, now the next couple of weeks, I will focus extremely on the team because the team that you work with as a leader is the essence of the success of your company.
