What Are the Books or Podcasts You Revisit Every Year?

With so much new content available daily, we often focus on what’s next. But what if true growth comes from revisiting what has already made an impact?

In this episode of The Daily Hint, we explore the power of returning to books and podcasts that have influenced us in the past. As individuals, we are constantly evolving—our mindset shifts, our experiences shape us, and our perspectives change. Because of this, the same content we once found valuable can take on a whole new meaning when revisited after a year or more.

Think of a book or podcast that changed the way you think. Now imagine reading or listening to it again. You might notice new insights, relate to different ideas, or find lessons that feel even more relevant now. This is why many successful individuals build a habit of revisiting content that has profoundly shaped them.

A simple way to implement this is by creating a list of two or three books or podcasts to revisit annually. Set a reminder on your phone and make it part of your routine. The results can be surprising—not just in what you learn, but in how much you realize you’ve grown.

Try it and see how your perspective shifts over time.

What are the two to three podcasts or books that you revisit every year? I have a list of those and I always remind myself with a simple reminder in my phone that I should be listening to this episode again. And it's fascinating when you do this, because we as individuals, we're developing and when we're developing our mindset and the view of the world is changing.

So when you read something that's profound, And then you re listen or you re read it again after a year, your perspective has shifted and you will take different other things from that book, from that podcast and can apply that in today's situation. It's fascinating. I'm doing this since at least five to six years, and it's incredible what I'm learning about myself and about what I can accomplish in this world.

Try it.
