Try Until You Succeed: Embracing Perseverance for Ultimate Success
In the latest episode of The Daily Hint, titled "Try Until You Succeed," Jens Heitland revisits the fundamental lessons we learn as children about perseverance and how these lessons can be monumental in our adult lives, especially when chasing our dreams.
The Philosophy of Perseverance
Jens draws a powerful analogy between a child learning to walk and adults pursuing their goals. He points out that just as children do not stop trying to walk after falling, adults should also persist in their endeavors despite failures. This episode is a call to action to recapture the relentless spirit of our younger selves.
The Importance of Continuing Efforts
Continuous Learning: Jens discusses how, like children, we must be willing to fall and get up again, learning from each setback.
Overcoming Fear of Failure: Adults often hesitate to try new things due to the fear of failure. Jens argues that accepting failure as a part of the journey is crucial for growth.
Adopting a Child-like Tenacity: The episode emphasizes the need to embrace a child-like tenacity, where the focus is more on the process and less on the fear of outcomes.
Strategies for Persistent Efforts
To help listeners apply this philosophy, Jens suggests several strategies:
Incremental Progress: Break down your goals into smaller, manageable tasks and celebrate small victories along the way.
Reflective Learning: Regularly reflect on what each attempt teaches you, adjusting your approach accordingly.
Support Networks: Build a support network that encourages you when things get tough and reminds you of your capability to succeed.
"Try Until You Succeed" isn't just about achieving goals but transforming how we approach challenges and opportunities in life. Jens encourages listeners to push the boundaries of their comfort zones, embrace the risks, and persist through adversities with the assurance that continued effort leads to success.
This episode is a powerful reminder that the path to achievement is paved with trials and errors, and only by embracing each step can we truly advance towards our ultimate goals. Tune in for a motivational boost to rejuvenate your journey towards success.

Think about it, if you are a child and you start learning to walk, are you stopping just because you're falling down and then don't keep on going to try it? No, it's the other way around. Kids are learning to walk because they don't stop and testing and trying and trying and falling.
And when we are adults, Sometimes we're forgetting that. That if we really want something, we just need to keep on going. We need to keep on pushing and trying different things to get to where we want to be. If you want to achieve something, get back to your childhood and try more often and fail more often.
Is it risky? Yes, maybe you get a bloody nose, but you will succeed in the long run.
