Want to connect with decision makers and other CEOs? Stop making this LinkedIn network mistakes. Number one thing in LinkedIn is that you're commenting and engaging with other people because the platform is built to connect with each other. What a lot of CEOs are doing there once in a while, share what the companies post.
So you share something that your PR and marketing team has done on the main channel of your company and then you share that. And nobody cares about that. Yes, there are of course all internal people and a couple of friends and people who want to connect to you that react to that. But do you really drive business and connections with other C in this way?
I believe you need to reach out to the individuals and the CEOs on LinkedIn to then meet up in person and really network. LinkedIn is just a door opener for you if you utilize it properly. If you don't, the doors are staying closed and you just keep on doing what you always do. Innovate yourself to innovate your business.
