One of the things that rule number one should help us realize is that the world's too complex for any one of us to have all of the answers. When you take something like Covid, there was no rule book for it. Nobody could say, oh, let me just turn to page 56 and I'll know what to do next.
We didn't have a clue. Nobody did. So any political leader or business leader had a really tough challenge finding a way to navigate through that. I am not suggesting that a leader in that scenario, should say, well, I don't know what to do. What do you think? I realize that the leader needs to give confidence to those around them.
But I absolutely think it's okay to say there is no rule book for this. But I'm confident we're gonna find a way forward together. Let's work at this. But if you end up in a scenario where somebody thinks I need to tell everybody what to do. I need to have all of the answers, and it needs to be all about my way of doing things. Then we can think we are helping the team, but in reality, we're just driving things that they probably don't understand.
