You are two connections away from your dream job. Everyone has the possibility to take out your phone and look into your connections. And that's a powerful tool. Every one of us has the possibility to take out our phone and look into the connections. Or use social media where you see a lot of connections that you have in common.
You look at the people that you want to be connected to. There are deciders in your dream job. And then you look, who could introduce me to that person? Because you're only two connections away from your dream job. That means you're two connections away from someone who could help you to get that dream job.
It's a very simple tactic. Connect to people that can help you to be introduced and be honest and say, Hey, would you mind me introducing to that person? If you are a good person yourself and you're helping others, they will say, yes, of course, happy to help you. And then they introduce you to your dream job.
