When you're onboarding new team members as a leader, the most important system I always use is a buddy system. You put two team members, one that is new to the organization that needs to be onboarded and one that is already inside of the organization and it's high potential. You put them together and learn from each other.

The new team member that comes from the outside brings a lot of value because they see things from a different perspective. And the other one that is already. The inside of the organization will get all these new perspectives, but it's sharing the ways of working, how things are working, and how the other person can get up to speed faster.

This too will be a super team going forward. Utilize an onboarding structure with buddies and you will see the difference when people join your team.
