Meeting in Real Life Building Trust 10x Faster Than on a Screen
In today’s fast-paced, digitally connected world, it’s tempting to rely solely on virtual interactions to build professional relationships. But here’s a secret: nothing beats the power of meeting face-to-face. This episode of The Daily Hint dives into why in-person meetings are a game-changer for establishing trust and building meaningful connections.
When you meet someone in real life, you engage all your senses. You shake hands, exchange smiles, and pick up on subtle cues that simply don’t translate through a screen. These interactions create a sense of authenticity and connection that accelerates trust-building exponentially.
In the episode, I share why I prioritize in-person meetings whenever possible. Whether it’s for business or personal connections, those first few minutes of physical presence often reveal whether the person is a fit—whether as a client, a collaborator, or even a friend.
If you’re serious about growing your network and fostering deeper relationships, the key is to step out from behind the screen. Learn why human connections thrive in physical environments and how this approach can revolutionize your professional life.
Tune in to this episode to explore how you can leverage real-life meetings to stand out and succeed.

Here is why. I meet people in person whenever possible. Personal connections in real life are a differentiator because you can see, you can feel the other person, you can shake their hands, you can give them a hug. And through that, you build trust way faster than on a digital screen. We are all human beings and we still are naturally drawn to each other.
And doing that in a physical environment is way easier to build connection. I love this because I can feel if the other person is right for me, right for me as a client, right for me as a friend, right for me of someone I want to spend time with. And I can feel that most of the time in the first five, six, 10 minutes.
And then I can decide, do I want to spend more time with this individual? And can we help each other specifically in business? It's super important to meet people in person as much as possible.
